Join us for the opening reception of Storyburst, an exhibition showcasing artwork made by students from John Moffet School and Samuel Powel School. Over the past months, students at both schools participated in visual storytelling through a multitude of mixed-media projects. They drew visual inspiration from such artists as Iasmin Omar Atta and Diana Al-Hadid, and narrative inspiration from a variety of Arabic folktales. With spirited hand puppets, deftly-drawn comics, miniature sculptures of brave heroes, and much more, this exhibition displays an abundance of student storytelling!
